Overview
Once you pass the Thenpalani check-post one would reach the 9th Mile. The trek starts from there climbing down the troughs and crests of the eastern Ghats. The trek traverses through different topographies and ecosystems. You would pass the hills, trees, streams and soak up in nature all along. The trail then reaches a place called Pasooth which is a high- altitude grassland, that’s where the journey ends. It is an ideal spot for birding and high chances of animal sighting.
