Avalanche is about 24 km from Ooty, tucked away from the town's hustle and bustle. The misty mountain trail features dense forests, waterfalls, forest streams, and stunning wildlife. The trek route leads to Kolaribetta peak, the 2nd highest peak in Tamil Nadu next to Doddabetta. One of the most beautiful trekking trails of the state, it harbors a spectacle with its picturesque landscape views, pristine forest types, salubrious climate and many endemic flora and fauna.

Thanks a ton for opening Tamilnadu trek portal for nature enthusiasts and trekking lovers. This trail was out of the world experience. This tough trek can be done only people with a mindset to see what the Nilgiris has got to offer. It’s good that it’s tough , priced reasonable so it’s filters out people who don’t have value for nature conservation. The summit is the highlight. It was very well organised. The portals have been very well designed to offer the best for nature lovers. 🙏🏻
