The guidance and service provided by Poovendiran and Muneeswaran was really outstanding
We where guided by guides Ganesh and Murugan. It was short easy trek(The first half of climbing is a bit steep walk) for our gang of 7. We had fun. They gave us enough time to rest and enjoy the place. Our spots had lush green grass/trees and occasional streams of water with pure drinkable water. Explained to us about the rivers(sotharu and vembakali) and how the Kutladampatti falls gets its water and all the plants and its uses around the area. Light Refreshments / Snacks we had were nilakadalai(prolly 100gms) and lemon juice cooled in the falls at 1500 mt elevation. Overall a good enjoyable easy trek for beginners and a day outside the busy hustle.
● Great supportive guides and forest officers who has deep knowledge on the ecosystem ● Good for beginners who are looking forward for a trek experience. ● Hidden location near Madurai. ● Peaceful environment.
Its been great trekking experience for family as little one also able to trek till the end. Especially Ganesh guide and Mathi forest officer gave lot of information on forest ecosystem and gave needed rest pause made overall experience great.
Friendly guides, supportive officers and a stunning location. Overall had a great experience..
