Overview
Topslip is located near Pollachi on the Anamalai mountain range. Misty mountain ranges and the dark enchanted forest under thick canopy of tall trees is dream-like. Topslip is the entry point of Anamalai. It’s a biodiversity hotspot and its highly likely to spot wildlife, even catch a glimpse of the big cat. Trek starts from Kayianchola, as you stroll through the wilderness you would spot many species in the darkness of the thick canopy. Then you start climbing up passing through bamboo thickets, grasslands and further through rock formations to reach a spot from where one can catch a 360 degree view of the landscape. Trek further to reach a hill top with grasslands where you could spot Nilgiri Thar, Gaurs even leopards and Tiger. Then you can trek back downhill which is equally demanding as the trek uphill.
