Things to remember before you book a trek
- Trekking in forests invariably requires physical endurance depending upon the category of the trek.
- Right planning and adequate preparations will make treks immersive and memorable.

Refreshing experience.
Honestly,one of the most refreshing experiences I’ve had in a long time.My first solo trek with Trek Tamil Nadu and I enjoyed every bit of it.Everything was very well organized.The forest was so beautiful and peaceful,and the view from the top was just breathtaking. I got to see so many birds and animals along the way,which made the experience even more special. The guides(Mr.Suresh & Mr.Venkatesh)were really friendly, knowledgeable and supportive,I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the trek.waterfall visit at the end were a lovely addition. Beyond Expectations!
My wife and I undertook this Trek on 23rd August. The breathtaking scenery, the flora and fauna of this area, the physical challenges one faces during the 3 hour trek, the total dedication of the accompanying guide, the serene atmosphere of the dense forest, and, most importantly, the awesome grandeur of the engineering feat that is the Aliyar Canal, made this trek an absolutely fantastic and unforgettable one. This was our first ever trek and at the end of the trip both of us were wildly excited rather than tired!!! It's a great pity that not many people know about this trek even within Tamilnadu. Schools and colleges should encourage students to undertake this trek so that youngsters could get an opportunity to see for themselves and marvel at the raw Nature and the stupendous engineering feat of the Aliyar Canal made possible by the then Chief Minister of TN late Mr. K. Kamarajar. For those wanting to experience this trekking expedition with family and friends, I would strongly recommend to book their stay in the airconditioned tents at the Camp Sethumadai itself, near the booking office. The modern tents and the adjacent play area for kids are very neatly maintained. The food we had for lunch was very tasty and delicious! Full marks to all their staff for running this place wonderfully well.
SAFE AND THRILLING TREK
From the start to end of trekking it was totally different experience,as I am into first time guided trekking. Trek guide Suresh was very friendly ae well responsible throughout in this guided trekking. We only two person booked for the trek, we were guided by three people. Fantastic experience Keep it up TrekTN.
