Just an hour's drive from Kodaikanal, you can immerse yourself in the charm of village life and coffee plantations. The trek starts amidst nature and takes you downhill, so sturdy shoes are necessary for the rocky terrain.
Don't miss the breathtaking views from Dolphin's Nose. While wildlife sightings may be scarce, the area is a delight for birdwatchers. Your journey ends in the village of Vellagavi, where you can find comfortable accommodations or camp near the forest—the villagers' tradition of going barefoot highlights their deep connection to the land. Whether camp or continue to the stunning Kumbakarai Waterfalls, this adventure offers warmth and discovery!

This is my second visit to this campsite. Last time I visited via Kodaikanal, this time I took another route via Kumbakarai. I love this place and what it has to offer. Such stunning views and calm landscapes. They are very good hosts took very good care of me and my fellow trekkers, the best thing about the camp is the food, you will thoroughly enjoy the hot food after the trek. However this is a campsite and it’s important for any trekker to carry basic stuff. So plan accordingly.
Worth for money Beautiful place and adventure moment
