Easy trek. Wonderful experience.
Talking from a female solo traveler pov, the whole trekking experience was good. The trek was comparatively easier. The trail was nearly well defined. The view at the top was great as well. Guide Mahesh did a wonderful job. He even helped me reach the bus stand to catch the bus at the earliest. Met some wonderful trekkers as well. Long story short, one memorable experience!
Excellent place for beginners.
We had a great time with in Swamimalai for 3 hrs easy trekking. My family members have no experience in trekking before, Im concerned about the trip at the beginning, but thanks to Mahesh the guide, He is a really professional, care taking and explaining the terrain and location, he was kind, patient and took care of us. We loved the time to spend with him throughout the journey. As it was the first time my kids enjoyed, we recommend Tamilnadu trekking.
Good beginner trek
Simple beginner trek - trail is a mix of stairs/steps made of stones and regular path with a nice temple and a viewpoint at the top. Guide Mahesh was very helpful and ensured we were safe during the trek.
Trek experience-Swamymalai
This is my first trek and the coordinators Mr. Saravanan did a great job in supporting travel and accommodation. which was really helpful for solo travellers. Mr. Mahesh who accompanied during the trek is friendly and had good insights about the terrain, flora & fauna, he is kind enough to accommodate my additional requests. This trek experience as a whole was great. Thanks to coordinator and TrekTN team.
Great pleasure
It was a great initiative by Tamilnadu government. We are previleged to be the first family to trek Swamimalai by Trek Tamilnadu. The rangers had immense knowledge and they were kindful enough to take us through the trek. Even, we felt so safe that, we have sent our kids with them ahead and we reached later. Expected to visit many trails soon.
