Karaiyar the way to Kanikudieruppu through the dense forest
Slightly easier trail. Should improve the trek distance by 1 or 2 km. Also, finish the stretch at the Karaiyar Dam view. A friendly guide explained the Karaiyar forest well and the way of keeping forests plastic-free was good. Recommended for families.
A short walk Through the Deep Jungle
A great introductory trek for kids! I took my 9-year-old son on this trail. It’s relatively short and easy, making it perfect for families. Starting near Servalar, we walked through an old jungle trail to reach Karaiyar. Our guides were excellent and very helpful, pointing out bird facts and medicinal plants along the way. While the forest is incredibly thick, green, and beautiful, we didn't spot any large animals due to the dense cover. A peaceful walk through nature!
