Not ce treck, with a very good guide Ravi. He was knowledgeable and explained on nature during the treck.. nice experience to see cauvery flow alongside your treck
A long riverside walk along the river Kaveri. You'll enjoy mostly flat forest paths, often touching the riverbanks. At some places, there are hundreds of butterflies gathering at scenic spots along the river. Our forest watcher guide was excellent, allowing river baths and flexible route choices (riverbank vs. forest trail). He was even willing to help and arrange coracle rides and a delicious fish lunch after the trek. Just start early to avoid the sun. Also, be aware only BSNL has network near the area.
We will be walking alongside river for the whole trek.. Throughout the trek you'll be surrounded by butterflies. While coming back we can take a dip in river as well. It was such a good experience. The forest officers and guides are very friendly. Guides shares their experience and about flora and fauna and terrain which is very informative.
